Toronto, Canada (January 29, 2020) – Alexio Corporation is excited to announce their win at the Canadian SME National Business Awards last night in the ‘Best New Business’ category.
CEO Anne Genge and the Alexio team were nominated in two categories: for ‘Best New Business’ and for ‘Businesswoman of the Year’. Although Alexio has been serving clients in the technology industry for over 20 years, it is their new automated cyber-security solution for small businesses and healthcare practices that scored them the big win at the Canadian SME National Business Awards.

The Canadian SME National Business Awards was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center on January 28, 2020, and featured awards in 23 different categories. Genge was presented her award by Jackie King from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and took a minute afterward to thank family, her co-founder, the Alexio team, and her loyal and supportive clients.
“This is obviously important to us on a personal level, but more importantly, the world has a big problem with cyber-crime and it needs fixing fast. The security of sensitive personal information is in a terrible mess, and smaller businesses especially need help to protect it.”
